If game does not load, try a different browser. Chrome did not work for me. This is a bug that I have no idea how to fix, no combinations of WebGL compression settings got it to work. Edge worked for me.

Game for the Nokia 3310 Game Jam.

Want to see a higher resolution version? : Check this out

This game ended up acting as more of an artstyle/shader showcase, given that the gameplay itself ended up being not that interactive

There may be a momentary black screen while going between transitions, I couldn't find a way to stop this unfortunately. I'll look into it into the future.

Admittedly, I find the game not that entertaining, however I am really proud of the shader I developed for this game jam and may use it in a future project (With a higher resolution and less restrictions of course)

Controls
  • WASD - Move
  • ←↑↓→ - Look
  • Space - Jump
  • E - Interact

After winning, if you press Q, you will enter God mode!

the name "for you life" is really clever because it makes "Run for your life"

Its an amazing game, i love the graphics although it hurts my eyes after a while, i would say that the only thing that i dont like about the game is that it restarts the game completly when you die, which is why i stopped playing the game, i activated the generator and then got hoarded by the zombies and died...

Thank you! I saw your game in the discord too, I loved the Calculator haha, I’m 100% trying your game when I’m at my PC

Very cool, the shader is fantastic.

Thank you very much! :D

Not sure what's up with that other commenter... anyway, really cool work for the jam! I think it's super impressive how readable the environments and objects are for such a small resolution. Looking around in real 3D space in one of this nokia games is surreal.

Thank you! Yes, I'm really pleased with how the shader came out and I'm definitely using it in future projects, granted with a higher resolution. If you haven't already seen, I've uploaded a high res version that is linked in the desc. if you're at all interesting in seeing that :)

(And thank you for the sensical response, as apposed to some other people :p)

ok

Thank you?
